N.Lee is very famous for their Bahn Mi in Melbourne. So I went there to try them out. After the first bite, they became one of my favorites. I got a grilled pork Bahn Mi ($6.30) with a little bit of chili. Vietnamese chili is the spiciest one I’ve ever had so I add a very small amount which is enough to add a little bit of kick to the flavor of the dish.
This bakery is located at 220 Smith Street in Collingwood. They have all of their ingredients on display and everything is fresh and looks amazing. The only downside I found was while paying for the Bahn Mi. They accept only cash, so if you go there make sure that you have got some cash in your pocket.
The bread of the Bahn Mi was soft and fresh. It had a lot of coriander, cucumber, carrots, grilled pork and Pate. The combination of everything together was out of this world. The flavors were really nice. Especially the Pate added a lot of flavor and texture to the Bahn Mi. The pork was cooked very nicely. It was soft and juicy and perfectly complimented the crispy elements of the Bahn Mi.
I really loved this place and would recommend you to go and try out their Awesome Bahn Mi. Click the following video to watch the review of N.Lee Bakery.
